As a Senior SDET, I:
Build and validate high-speed visual inspection systems for clear aligner manufacturing. My work spans high-resolution imaging, object detection, and 3D model matching to detect manufacturing defects in uniquely shaped aligners, reliably achieving cycle times below 5 seconds per piece.
Own test automation for a Windows C++/Qt desktop application that integrates with capture hardware and 3D processing pipelines; I design and author Pytest-based automated tests for Python microservices (REST & gRPC) that power inspection workflows and use service virtualization (Wiremock) to reliably validate end-to-end behavior.
Manage Git repository rulesets (Bitbucket/GitHub) and Bamboo plans for test cycles and builds, use Docker to create reproducible test environments.
Mentor junior engineers and interns (several promoted to mid-level roles), and act as the primary onboarding contact for new hires.
Align product quality goals with customer needs through interviews and on-site visits to manufacturing facilities to ensure our software addresses real operational problems.

I’m into film photography for the same reason I like engineering: constraints make you deliberate. I started playing padel in Spain and love the mix of tactics and pace. And when there’s snow, alpine skiing is my favorite reset.
